We got a good morning on Sunday, so went up the plot. I continued the drastic hedge-trimming that Daz had begun whilst Gemma dug up some potatoes. Daz arrived and we decided to take out all the potatoes, leeks and parsnips that were remaining and half them up. Quite a bit of veg all in all and it took me ages to clean it all up later that afternoon.
Sunday's tea was a potato and leek soup and Monday's a curried parsnip soup. All very nice with potatoes and parsnips to spare. No leeks though as they were a little small. Maybe a bit of feeding next year.
