Starting to think about the garden

The cold and rain forced me into a very definite non-gardening state of mind, plus the frustration in not yet having found a job has gotten me down slightly I think. But, Christmas is done with, it's the New Year and I have been cheered by my apparent success in brewing (I say apparent as I haven't tasted the brews yet, but hydrometer readings show at least that fermentation is occurring). With the New Year seed catalogues have started to roll in so the prospect of getting some veggies in is becoming fairly appealing.
