Crazy growth

We have lots of steady growth now up the plot, everything is coming on quite nicely, especially the weeds, which come back as fast as I can zap them. The peas are really going good guns. The potatoes have really jumped up too.

I've been up a couple of nights in a row to water and have had salad from the allotment both nights. Very very nice, although most leaves have holes in them. I'm not sure why, but something has had a right go at the salad bed, which we didn't really see so much of last year. Perhaps the shallots that were planted alongside helped deter insects or something.
