Flowering currant tree

I had a fight with the flowering currant tree at the back of the allotment. Jury's out on who won, given the amount of it's branches in a pile at the top of the plot and the amount of scratches on me. Let's call it a draw for now. Round 2 will occur sometime later in the week I think.

That was pretty much all I did up the plot other than splash some water on the beds and eat the good peas. I've found that all of the purple and yellow podded peas are a bit tough -and some of the green peas have started getting a bit big and going that way. Still, I'm going to try some in a soup for tea tonight and might think about harvesting them all and drying them for winter soups.
