Fire!

Gemma and I managed to get up to the plot for a couple of hours work, for the first time in what seems like ages. Gemma did some hedge chopping, whilst I cut back the brambles (that were the source of our biggest crop this year) at the top of the plot.

That evening we went back down there with Daz and Jen for a couple of brews and a massive fire to get rid of the bulk of the crap pile. We even toasted crumpets. Top Notch.

Had a very tasty plot soup of parsnip, carrot and beetroot on the Sunday.
